Blauw Geel 3 - Mamio 3 5-0 (1-0) Match report

Sunday mornin' started in the wrong way. 14 Players on the list but only 9 people were on field when the match began (luckily Bas joined us 4 minutes later).

This was the line-up with brave Peter as goalkeeper.

Defense:

Kostas, Bas, Elmer, Vile

Midfield:

Giuseppe, Giulio, Stefano, Dany

Forward:

Lonely Philip

Therefore as usual Mamio was playing again with a lack of players.

In the first part of the first 45 minutes, Blauw Geel managed to control spaces an ball and we managed to protect our goal, then this balance changed. From a right-side action Blauw Geel managed to came too close to our score an put the ball in the net. 1-0.

After that we became more aggressive and energized and, thanks to a drastic drop of the opponent's performances, we managed to come close to score the draw.

In the break we realized that Blauw Geel's players were clearly tired and we had the feeling we can win the match.

So we try to put Giulio as forward and Philip as midfield in the hope that the good german guy could improve the game in the our line-up's center.

But things became worst. Blauw Geel despite thier unfit conditions, managed to control without problems the ball with simple and easy passes waiting for our mistakes and trying to save energy. This tactic worked fine. Hurried to score for draw we made thousend mistakes and with the team's balance moved to the forward, we didn't manage to well defend our score.

4 more goal came fast and we lost the hope soon.

Although we were clearly fitter than our opponents (almost all the team smoked before and in the break) we didn't manage to win an affordable match.

Same problems from time immemorial:

1) Players: it's not possible that we have to always play with less player (I don't remember I ever played against a team with less players) we expect 14 players but only 9 showed up. Yes, is sunday, it's morning and it's cold, so if you plan to sleep sunday, maybe soccer is not your sport.

2.

Space: we don't use the space.

3.

We prefer to dribble opponents instead of an easy play (and of
course we lost the ball)

Today's hero: Kostas. Slept 3 hours after partying and drinking and played well.

Mamio 3 - Forward 6 - Cancelled

Forward 6 failed to show up, or notify us about their absence. So we had no game. A shame, since we had even more players available than during our previous game. Well, anyway, Forward will get a fine, 3 points less and another beating the next time we meet them.

Kloosterburen - Mamio 0-6 Full report

It was a sunny day and we expected an exchange of blows.

Every one of us was excited and had this special feeling as something special might happen today.

As it had been turned out after 90 minutes +injury time it was a special day for our team. We won 6:0 against a team which thought that we are not more than victims.

During the warm up we got our instruction from the skipper, we call him Jaap Stam after the match as all of our defenders did a great job and all of them were comparable with a wall, there was no change to beat them that day.

Our lineup was as following

First half:
Jin
Kostas /Johan /Bas /Elmer
Orcun /Stefano /Vile /Giuseppe
Philip/ Giulio

After a few minutes we faced the first chance for our team, but unfortunately the two forward strikers weren’t able to finish their run.

It seemed to be, as our rivals were on their last legs, we ran the whole time on their goals and finally we got rewarded with the first goal via Philip Hitzfeld after 20 minutes.

From that moment we faced a victory and every one in our team was delighted to see that the opprobrium two weeks ago was forgotten. The winger Orcun and Giuseppe had earned more than a normal salary for their effort , they were running up and down the line, while Philip Hitzfeld scored again, he relieved the ball from his rival and had he typical tunnel view, last but not least he scored again and we were satisfied for the work, we did during the week. A few minutes before half time Guilio caught the ball from the left side and dribbled two of his competitors out and focused the right corner and shoot the ball went against the interior post. Another goal for our team and what a brilliant one!

45 minutes were over and we had time to change our strategy to bring our victory home.

Time for a break we were exhausted.

Second half lineup:
Jin
Kostas/ Johan/ Bas /Elmer
Orcun/ Stefano/ Philip/ Danny
Giulio/ Giuseppe

Second half started as the first half end, we had so many opportunities to score, but it took us 15 minutes before Orcun found the target and scored. All of us did a great job that day even though our goalkeeper who did two brilliant safes. It appeared that we all had one of these days, that everything worked out. After this goal our rivals give up and we scored two more goals via Philip Hitzfeld for him it was a lucky day….

I suggest the most aggressive player was Kostas as he fought for each ball.

Man of the match: Guilio and Guiseppe as both cross in lovely balls which were quiet easy to finish for the rusher.

Luckiest Person: Philip Hitzfeld he was at the right time,at the right place ;-)

For this week the time follow this saying à No pain, no gain
